Welcome back to our print edition! It’s only been two weeks, but it seems like much longer. Our online edition was quite successful, with a good number of visitors to our website. If you missed it, you can find it here.
It seems we didn’t miss too much while we were on vacation and there wasn’t much more happening last week or this. Things are fairly quiet around town with so many people on vacation. So instead of a lot of hard news, we’re bringing you a beach edition! Lots of features to keep you entertained as you try to stay cool over the next few days of high heat and humidity. Really looking forward to that...
With Nancy taking a bit of a summer hiatus to spend time with her family, we have a new writer helping out. Sarah Freedman joins us this week with a feature on a young woman from Stow who won the Writer’s Digest grand prize for her short story. Marissa Gabel weaves quite a tale and it’s really worth reading. Check it out on the website provided in the article.
Stay cool, drink lots of water and remember how cold it was this Spring! I’m trying to figure out a way to store up this heat for next winter.
