The Independent Clause

First things first, I have to write my own correction. In last week’s “Clause” I said that Wednesday was the first day of Fall. Of course, everyone else on the planet knew that it wasn’t until Friday. And I’m usually so good on the weather-related things, but I have it absolutely stuck in my brain that every equinox is on the 21st. I know that it’s not true, but part of my brain simply refuses to listen. It explains a lot, doesn’t it?
Now that it really IS Fall, the paper has definitely taken on a Fall feel this week. There’s a variety of stories, colorful photos and some pretty (if I do say so myself, and I do) local farm ads.  Fall is not just apple and pumpkin time, it is also a big time for real estate sales. Nancy highlights some of the more unique properties on the market in Stow and there are a variety of real estate ads spotlighting upcoming open houses, sales statistics and sale properties.
We’ve had a couple of new advertisers recently, including Roasted Peppers in this week’s issue, that were encouraged by our readers to advertise with us. Thank you to those of you who have gone out of your way to support the paper through recommendations, and FOTSIs of course. Please continue to patronize the advertisers who, by their inclusion in the paper, help to keep the paper coming to you free every week And please, let them know you saw them here. It really does help.
