October 12, 2011St. Isidore Celebrates 50 Years -by Ann Needle When Stow’s Church of St. Isidore was founded in 1961, Roman Catholics were enjoying a heyday of sorts in the US, with the nation’s first Catholic president, John F. Kennedy, in the White House. Now celebrating its 50th anniversary, St. Isidore has grown to be an integral part of Stow, while reflecting the changing times in the town and beyond.
